Requirement:
As part of a Maritime Tactical EW training requirement, a Middle Eastern customer requested that we design and deliver a tailored set of modules. These modules covered a wide range of Maritime EW related subjects to provide serving EW operators with an increased tactical awareness in this domain.
Approach:
After a period of initial analysis and fact finding with the customers EW subject matter expert we were able to determine the full requirement and created a detailed package of training material. The 8 week course was a combination of theoretical modules using a variety of training materials and practical scenarios specifically designed to enhance student awareness of this subject.
Outcome:
Mercury successfully delivered a number of these courses over a period of 2 years to a wide range of students some of who went on to be operationally deployed at sea in the region. The courses were also very well revceived by the customer and became part of the training schools main tactical EW training.
